Creation (Elemental)

The World of Langthil

Khthon, Ogonum, Pygon, Thales, and Nafeeti argued/fought/played? with one another, alternately feeding and destroying parts of each other. The result was chaos, as one would grow, and another would grow from that, while another would destroy it and yet another grow from that. Even the other gods themselves, had they been around in that time, would have found it impossible to follow what was happening.

Eventually Aether, tired of the antics of the other 5, decided to put a stop to it. She swooped in and enveloped all 5 of them, surrounding and blanketing them, quieting but not silencing the cycles of growth and destruction. She eventually squeezed them into a ball, which became the world.

Slowly, one by one, the other gods came to this realm and, seeing the world, decided to add their own influences to it, though Aether and the other Elementals imposed limits on how much they could change. Eventually, many of them chose to stake out their own little realms within it, while others preferred to remain aloof, yet most of them found themselves now invested in it and in the mortal lives that had been created upon it.
